About Jazmine Labra Ceramics

Welcome to Jazmine Labra Ceramics! My name is Jazmine, the one-woman show behind this ceramics business. All throughout my 20s I took pottery classes on and off, up until I got married. In our first two years of marriage my husband and I had two, beautiful babies and the good Lord made it clear that the best place for me was to become a SAHM raising those two sweet babies ♥️.

After I gave birth to my second child, I had a pretty rough postpartum season. The demands of motherhood are high, and I was pushed to my limit. I could feel this growing desire within me to have something, somewhere to go just for myself. For my sanity, but also to make sure I was showing up as the best mother I could be for my little ones.

Since I started pottery classes, I always dreamed of having a home pottery studio. I never expected this dream to come true, but thanks to the grace of God and encouragement and hard work of my husband, this dream became reality. My husband and in-laws managed to build a studio in our backyard, and since then I’ve been spending every spare moment I can getting lost in the art of making something beautiful out of a humble lump of clay.

And that’s how Jazmine Labra Ceramics was born! I went through a few different business names, and was so indecisive I ended up on my name because I know that won’t change haha. My mission with this business is to share the wonder and awe I feel, pulling something beautiful out of a kiln that weeks ago was just a ball of mud. The pieces I make are meant to bring focus back into the present moment, enjoying the sacredness of everyday life.
